Is there any way to IP trace/dox via Discus?
I've encountered a sick, psychopathic individual that is admitting to budding serial killer crimes that resemble those that are happening in my town. I did email a link to the law enforcement agency that I think investigates this, but they have Mondays off.
Not sure where to turn to... any advice? I don't know how to do reddit or the chans or however you get Anonymous involved. I'll give specifics if needed... this guy is believed to Google himself so I wouldn't want to accidentally tip him off by saying too much.

There are multiple ip trace programs available that you can just plug an IP into if you have access to the IP. The difficulty is getting the IP. But in terms of doxing someone, an IP doesn't do that much for you. It would be better if you have some specific information you could search, such as the person's legal name, their address, a phone number they use or a relative's legal name.

There are websites out there that do work, like for detectives, and you can dox someone really easily using those. You honestly could just contact someone on the foxdickfarms and they would probably give you links to whatever you need, especially if you make it clear this is potentially a criminal matter. I know of one user there in particular over there who doxes people for fun.

If the person is admitting to crimes, you should definitely log the things they've said and record that information to give to law enforcement later. Keep logs of anything they write that seems like a serious criminal violation. Get whatever information you have collected into a package you can send to law enforcement.

I don't know of any way to get someone's IP unless the service they're on gives you authority to grab their IP. But most people fuck up and reveal their location in what they say. And if you combine accidental self-dox with personal information such as phone numbers, addresses or names (even forum names can lead to more information), then you can dox pretty easily that way.

There's nothing to go on but a screen name. Almost certainly lives in my state. At first, I was just lashing out in blind rage at the things he posted. But now I'm trying to troll him into revealing any info on himself.

Can someone tell me where I would post such a request on Kiwifarms? I never use that forum.

There is a serial cat killer in my area. He captures them, does Ed Gein kind of stuff to them, and then returns to display the mutilated remains to the owners.

Some people say he's just a troll, but with all the mentally ill folks that we're familiar with, I really think I can tell the difference between trolling and a fucktarded psychopath.
