Yeah, waist high cover and cover in general is bullshit from vidya gaems.

From what I hear for a lot of them their point of reference are games. One of my drill sergeants talked about when he was there they'd just spray while behind cover so half of the bullets aren't even going anywhere near you

I was asking my father about stopping power recently and shotgun calibers to see if bird shot would be enough for a home defense situation. And that's the weakest fucking shotgun load. And yeah, apparently it still is.

How thin are your walls and would it matter if shot went through? If that's no concern, go with buckshot. Birdshot can be adequate, buckshot will be adequate.

Obviously buck would be best. I was just curious if somebody, such as a poorfag, could use birdshot and have it be effective.

I live in the city and it always matters if shots go through your walls. But it's pretty much rhetorical.

Now I'm reminded of the fun "We don't have any bigger issues here in Germany, so let's talk about eeeevil video games" days when supposed "experts" tried to convince the public that mouse + keyboard or a gamepad could teach you how to use a real gun.

Kek, I'm not even a good shot and I've probably spent 1000x the amount of time shooting of your average yuropoor, and I barely go shoot.

Kugel is an exception who doesn't count. He probably shoots more than my redneck relatives.

Shooting is like carpentry or camping or any skill. You have to do it thousands of times to even be mediocre. Vidya gaems don't teach shit.

Only once a week and lately even less due to a lack of time. I'd love to shoot more but time is a serious issue. We don't exactly have a range here where you can just go to and shoot anytime you want. Well, in big cities you do but not here.
