2028, I have little idea. Trump has hired a lot of idiots, is raiding the treasury to enrich himself; and keeps waxing on, waxing off on the tariffs; but he is still more popular than the Democratic party at large.

The big question is this tent of voters Trump has built for himself. It is unlikely Marco or JD will be able to keep everyone under that same tent. Same thing happened to the Democrats when President Droneboi wasn't on the ticket anymore.

Trump's polling is still steady, despite Elon's shenanigans, Hegseth's groupchat leaks, and RFK's pro-measles stance. The string of fuck ups there doesn't necessarily mean the Democrats have momentum.

Though I think a rightward shift on the border, at least where I am, is highly likely if there's going to be *any* victories outside of like Maine in a year and a half.
