It always strikes me as especially funny when people argue that an election result is somehow not democratic or even the end of democracy. These are the same people that would love to get rid of the electoral collage, facilitating essentially a hand full of cities dictating the law of the land. Or even better, in the case of fuckers like Blob, to go back to a feudal system where only an arbitrary elite can vote.
Takes about three seconds of thought to see the massive issues that would cause.

Michael Jordan is the luckiest man in sports.

He was a fantastic player, made tons of money off of shoes and endorsements, flopped out of Baseball but still got to try it, and made a fun movie - as an athlete - that didn't damage his reputation at all.

And he got in and out in the 90's, when a lot of major sports were hitting their peak in popularity and when major athletes were hitting their peak in earnings, what their leagues were able and willing to pay them, and the 90's was the peak "sellout" era -- where, if you had just the tiniest bit of cred, you could get a six-figure deal selling shoes or doing ads on TV for Burger King Whoppers.

And the best part? Mike avoided the social media era. The world of Twitter and shit, where athletes that should stick to their lane and what they do best -- which is play sports and be athletes -- feel the need to shit out their political beliefs to an uncaring world.

Now, everybody with a platform or fans is expected to be "political" and be an activist on one side of the aisle or the other. And that's why these retards all fuck it up. Because they don't care, but they feel the pressure to pretend like they do, because of that compulsory "must Tweet to stay current" mindset.
