The most seemingly credible information that I can find says that the shooter was not trans. She was a girl, 15 years old, suicidal, angry at her parents, and who admired past mass shooters.

The trans rumor seems to come from an unused DeviantArt profile under her name on which the gender is noted as "they/them", which some have pointed out is the default setting on DeviantArt if someone doesn't select a gender. Since the page has no information on it all--no pics, no posts, nothing--it's likely that she simply didn't fill out the profile.

We had a school shooting last week, but it isn't getting much media coverage. Nashville, Tennessee. 17-year-old guy killed one girl and himself. He was black. And crazy. A fan of Candace Owens, Ethan Ralph, Turkey Tom, and others.
