I still don't get how 'tariffs on movies' are supposed to work. At least with regards to distribution, all the theaters get their films digitally, so there's really no shipping.

I assume this is going to make investors stingier, but that's mostly going to impact people outside the epicenters for this stuff.

If a movie isn't being shot in Atlanta (Marvel actually flaunts that they shoot in Atlanta during their credits), New York or California, it's usually being shot in Canada; so I don't know why this wasn't included in the fight he picked with Canada.

I think Orange Man thought since Parasite won Best Picture, that meant we weren't making movies in America anymore....but American studios still bought and profited from the movie, as did American theaters. So the whole thing just seems miserable, incoherent and kind of retarded.
