That's a good point. Doesn't the Door Dash thing have a navigation app anyway? It's how they take the deliveries in the first place.
Seriously weird stuff. Not to mention that I'd expect a licensed gun dealer to be able to keep his cool in a totally non-confrontational situation.

This doesn't happen all of the time, but I've had neighbor's food delivered to my door.

House numbers can be hard to see sometimes. If the street is dark and a person orders food and maybe doesn't turn on any outside lights, confusion is still possible.

Maybe the DoorDash guy WAS casing the neighborhood, I don't know. That's possible, too.

The grey area here is what exactly threatened the guy in the house so much that he started blasting. I'm gonna need more than "A black guy asked for directions and that's weird".

I just assume DD left it up to you to use your own map app. If that's the case, I've never needed a data plan, so...
