It's fun, yeah. Ruger make some nice revolvers and I've shot them in .357 and .44.

IMO the most fun are lever-action rifles though. I fucking love lever-action rifles.

Ruger is overbuilt as fuck and kicks ass. Ruger Security Six is a dope-ass gun.

Don't know what S&W guns you're putting up for comparison, but my experience with those guns has been that they're either really fucking expensive for no real reason or else the quality is a bit shoddy.

+P on a 686 but not built like a log of lead is something I'm gladly paying more for. Rugers are thick as fuck because their steel hardening and barrel forging is shit.
