When I think klessik Star Trek, I think Kirk punching a giant lizard and Bones plugging Spock's brain back into his skull.
This whole talk about it being "the worst episode" is really just a meme perpetuated by Trekkies to keep normies away from this example of peak Trek.

Never got that either. When I think of worst episodes, I would pick a boring one. Spock's Brain is stupid but entertaining.

The Alternative Factor is easily the worst one I've seen so far, it was 45 minutes of nonsensical drivel and weird SFX.

I can't just recall episode names like Mike "flay the kike" Stoklasa, but there are plenty of boring Trek episodes of all iterations to pick from.
To take an actually memorable one that makes for a good watch, even if it's really dumb, just seems wrong.
Especially with TOS, which is often campy.

It doesn't help that all TOS episodes (and a good chunk of all Trek episodes) have a title in German that has fuckall to do with the English one.

The worst for me was one where (I think) Bones was protecting some mute lady from some guys who where after her for some reason. That must've had the most glacial pacing I've ever seen in TOS.

Yes, that probably is the worst episode. It was some female writer's mary sue torture porn fanfic canon story. I assume that she blew Roddenberry to get that on the air.

Definitely in the top 5 along with Tribbles and the first Romulan episode. Also the Harry Mudd story with androids
