Both suck. 2 had really great epic sets though. No idea what they were thinking with making them aliens, though. The original idea was they were fallen angels fighting to get back into heaven. Should have gone with that.
Oh, and prime Virginia Madsen. Yes please!
>Highlander 1 sucked

-On the internet, everyone end up being Spoony or Tim Buckley
-All fanbases are shit
-Most people had, have and will have shit tastes
Sucked harder than Keira Nicole betraying her race. Terrible acting, terrible action, looks uggo AF, and there isn't one competent home video release. (They all look like it's raining digital grain)

So you never watched it, GTABN

I own it, seen it several times, but it still sucks. Queen soundtrack and concept are all that's good. If I thought it was possible for modern studios to make good movies (they can't) I would hope for a proper remake with a decent budget.

I have seen the four furst Star Trek Movies (4 last year because i need to see something to cheer me up and 1 to 3 this year) and so far these movies are really good
Hrm, I thought the first was really boring. It had a few good points, and is buoyed up by the feeling of "hey, these characters are back!" but is mostly dull. 2, 3, and 4 are pretty decent, though, especially The Wrath of Khan.
Unfortunately, you're up for #5 next, which is considered to be one of the worst of the films. Just assume that after Kirk falls when climbing that he bumps his head and the rest of the movie is a dream he has. Everything actually makes a lot more sense if you do that...

After that comes 6 though, which is right up there in quality with 2 IMO, aside from a scene or two where the special effects aged poorly (you'll know it when you see it). Very good story, from back when a story could have political overtones without being blatant propaganda.
V really is fucking awful, but you can skip it and it not miss a damn thing. Nothing that happens in that film is ever hinted at again nor is there any buildup in it to anything in VI.
