At least now they can claim to make the "first Star Trek movie with a black lead".
This little project is somewhat interesting in that this like the first feature movie based on live-action series in a while afaik. I don't think their love for season-long mysteries will work in a movie format, not to mention muh precious continuity from previous seasons.

I was shitposting I just happen to probably be right.
After hitting submit I remembered that STD actually did get worse as it went on because the Orville gave them the bright idea to shove in shitty comedy to STDS2.
