Meh, I don't really care much about the black 007 controversy. It's not like Bond hasn't been outmatched by female agents before - there was the Asian chick in Tomorrow Never Dies, the CIA lady in Moonraker, Halle Berry in Die Another Day. And it's not like she's sticking around for another movie, so get your knickers untwisted.

Trailer looked alright. Craig's livelier than I've ever fucking seen him. It's looking like this is going to be his Diamonds Are Forever, where he just doesn't give much of a fuck and the plot's a bit campy(world domination, the same old dream). After the Mendes ones, I'm all for it.

The song is so fucking bad. It's just a girl mumbling over background noise. If the action scenes are cool I can just skip through the woke shit but goddamn, as a fan of Bond it's sad to the series sink so low. This isn't one of those "Bond's equal" things Babs tried to pull during Brosnan's tenure. Bond is straight-up a sidekick in this, and the movie ends with a woman as 007. Hopefully they'll reboot all this shit for the next actor, like how Die Another Day's campiness triggered the more realistic Casino Royale.

But I don't see why it matters if the movie ends with the woman as 007. Because it's obvious that she's not coming back in the next film. They're just closing off Craig's era, which means that a donkey might as well end up being 007, since the next film is still going to start with a rebooted James Bond in the role. And yes, a male one because Broccoli specifically has said so in interviews. Bond stays male. They'll do the same thing they did in Goldeneye and keep the MI6 regulars, but in a different continuity.
