And I don't think the comics ever resembled the movie versions. Even during the golden age of the MCU, I can guarantee you at least half of the most prominent Avengers were dead or replaced.

Every time I argue about Red Letter Media here, it's always with someone with someone who.has hasn't watched them in ten years (or ever) but still has an opinion about them.

News Flash: RLM have long been one of the most critical voices against capeshit out there. They ignore huge movies sometimes (ex. "The Batman") and often give bad or mixed reviews to movies that they do cover.

So, personally, I was surprised that they liked the new "Deadpool".

Let's also mention that a week doesn't go by on DHI where RLM aren't quoted in some way ("I CLAPPED" "CONSUME PRODUCT AND WAIT FOR NEXT PRODUCT").

As for Dick and Vito, their show is deliberately designed to piss off people. Dick is a California rightist who's critical of the right-wing. Vito is a leftist who says a lot of shit that outspoken leftists would despise. It's a show for misfits. I watched their Deadpool review because I genuinely didn't know what they would think about it and I was curious.

I mean - Wesley is really good, but he’s not in it nearly enough.

They could save their asses with that Blade movie, but they’re pussy footing right now. He doesn’t get taken out of “the void” at the end - since they want us to accept the reboot, I guess.

I guess I thought the movie was slightly above mediocre - like the other two and 90% of the MCU.
