Which movie is the more significant bomb, "The Marvels" or "Aquaman 2"? Your answer may prove that you're a mysognist!

I'm seeing a lot of Twitter retards go on about this. People in the replies sensibly comment that this is a "The bigger they are, the harder they fall" situation, but that does nothing for the nuts who see only ONE answer here.

And there are multiple answers here, one of which is that people dance a little more on "The Marvels" grave because they know that it upsets weirdos on social media who have an insane culture war investment in Disney product doing well. They're stupid and it's fun to watch them get upset (which they did when "The Marvels" bombed). The DCEU doesn't have that kind of weight. Particularly not now.

This guy is a moron. The reason no one is touching the reason for Aquaman 2 for failing is because they know it's a similar reason why the Flash failed. Both movies had an actor people hated so much and wanted removed from the movie. It's easy to blame a male than a woman in this world.

In Flash, though? Not only was he playing the main character, but he played two versions of him.

Flash had the marquee value of Michael Keaton going for it. And to a lesser extent, Michael Shannon. And all the wacky rumours that surrounded the movie before it came out. People got curious about it.

The fundamental flaw in this reasoning is the assumption the people shitting on The Marvels for bombing give any fucks about Mahvul vs DC culture clash. People noticed with the Mahvuls because Mahvul has been dominant in theaters for ages now. Much to the detriment of anyone who enjoys good movies. DeeCee was never that popular and has always kinda been the little brother who gets shit on by "teh mahvul jawks." Cue movieblob crying a river of tears.

Both movies will be utterly forgotten in no time at all.

The nex generation of Doges and JonTrons will have a field day trying to make sense of these capeshit movies and the myriad other movies and series they expect you to know (the latter of which might be lost media by that time if they don't get a physical release).

It's a shame, cause Momoa is a talented guy. I wouldn't put him on the same level as Vin Diesel or Dwayne Johnson. He has real talent and can portray grief in particular very well. Hopefully he picks more Dune-type projects in the future, and less DC/Marvel stuff.
