Though this raises an interesting question: Is diversity unfairly blamed because dying companies have hired nutjobs in a desparate attempt to become relevant again? Or are the companies dying because they got drunk with power and embraces the woke?

Too many people are terminally online and take idiots, trolls, and grifters too seriously. I don't believe for a moment that diversity killed "The Marvels". Not in a world where "Barbie" and "Black Panther" both made a billion dollars (and "Wonder Woman" came close). People today are trained to explain everything "bad" that happens as racism and misogyny (or troonphobia) when the real explanations tend to be much more basic (or vastly more complex) than that.

The companies are woke because the people in power there genuinely believe in it. Or because they think that's where the money is. Sometimes they're right. I don't like the phrase "Go Woke, Go Broke" because it's wrong so often. .

That's because as Razorfist says the phrase is wrong. It's Go Broke, Go Woke. It's the last gasp of a shitty company trying to stay alive. They assume they will go back on top of they virtue signal and as we see that doesn't work. Best example of this recently is Bud Light. Sales have been dropping and they were hoping with trannies sales will go up and they accelerated their demise instead.

I always see him having regular Budweiser on his show. I've once had US imported Budweiser. It's far from what the original Czech version is but drinkable.
