Also Felix Baumgartner, Austrian extreme athlete known for skydiving from outer Space in 2012 died at the age of 56.

I bet the hang glider accidentally pulled up too much from the wind and he fell vertically. I knew a guy who fell and broke his legs and hip from that but survived.
