Check that. In a serious WTF move, "Indiana Jones" has a 2021 release date reserved. I didn't even know they were actually working on one, and that title makes it sound reboot-ish.

I remember reading they wanted to do reboot/prequel starring Chris Pratt, but then they shot down the idea since no one but Harrison Ford can be Indiania Jones.

Not a great movie, although its a great Bale performance. Its pretty conventional. There's something about the direction that I really liked, where I actually felt the speed of the cars during the racing scenes.
I can't help but wonder what the movie would have been like if Michael Mann had stayed on and directed it like initially planned, but the finished product is breddy gud as is. Its also the most flag waving, "AMURKA, FUCK YEAH" movie I've seen in a while (the 'Murka'-ness works in the movie's favor), and judging by the business it did at the theater I work at, its liable to be a hit, too. So there you go.

Bombshell is pure propaganda. In the trailer, Roger Ailes basically tells Kayla (Margot Robbie) to suck his dick for a promotion and we're supposed to be appalled, blah blah blah. Except her character is fictional and it never happened, but they try to trick you by mixing her with real people: "Nicole Kidman is Gretchen! Charlie Theron is Megyn! Margot Robbie is Kayla!" Obviously, it's going to bomb, but they're counting on everyone who sees an ad to think Orange Man Bad, toxic white males, much tampons!
