No shit. I've seen him about fifteen years ago. He really only had that one hit, but he was a guitarist through and through. He even played with Johnny Winter in his prime.

My favorite Rick Derringer credit is that he produced and played on all of Weird Al Yankovic's records in the 80s. Presumably, his guitar skills made him good at imitating whatever song or style Al wanted to parody.
