I think I just dropped my monocle.

It would've been fine if the first time we see the monster it didn't come with a tutorial by a dude and if it wasn't "killed" off with a headshot that it shrugged off just a minute ago.
The most fun is actually spotting the monster in the background.

Was it killed off? I thought she "gave" it to her friend zone orbiter and it was stalking him at the end.

It's definitely a monster that needs some kind of explanation. Why can't others see it but can be still killed by it? Why didn't the cute lead get naked? Horror movies are supposed to be sezzy.

Yes but the last headshot at least made it disappear for a while.
I also find it very convenient that it never catches up to them when it should. There's so much lying around in a hospital but it never shows up there.
The biggest sin is that the movie is never scary at all. I'm not scared by some slow bitch pissing herself or some tall dude that looks like Lurch.

I don't need jump scares either. That's being startled, not being scared. The writers just sucked. They had an okay premise but didn't know how to write a good story around it.
They could've at least been way more edgy. They don't show the implied three man gangbang on the boat and only one character is killed onscreen in a fairly lacklustre fashion.
