That one will be a pitch to port over into whatever vidja version they have in Current Year.
And although Not-Guinevere is black, the card itself is unmistakably white

The hell is wrong with Brain in a Jar? Not the most perfect artifact but good combo potential in untap deck, counters, and so on. Also lets you get away with doing sorceries on other turns.
That Happy Trails shit just takes way too long to develop. Even on a late game, it'll get wiped off the board fast. No one is able to just sit around and turtle all day unless maybe you're playing Emperor. And if you're doing that, you're fucked because the other Emperor is feeding his lieutenants to bust through to you while you're picking flowers with permanents.
...and still: Spoony did nothing.

Well, in theory, you can F2P Magic Arena and not only save the ridiculous amounts of money you'd normally invest in that shit, but also completely avoid having to share a physical space with MtG players and all the horrors that come with that kind of experience.

Gimmicky shit. Takes too long or too much of a dedicated deck and works in no format at all. If you don't build the deck around it you're basically just wasting space for something much better.

Had to ressurrect this thread because I found something funny: in the newest MtG set for Magic Arena, the planeswalker Vivian Reid (a proud, strong woman of color) literally and unironically says "Diversity is Our Strength" when using her ability to create a creature token that comes into play with an ability of the controller's choice. It's supposed to make sense due to the "has an ability of your choice" part of her ability, but: a) you'll usually choose the same ability for all creature tokens depending on what you're facing; and b) we know better WHY they really put this line in the game anyway.
They also released alternate art for some of the big creatures in the game portraing and naming them as kaiju monsters - there are a couple of Godzilla cards, a Mothra card that is busted, a King-Kong card, etc. Really annoying.

How useful are multi-color (aka diverse) decks again?

New set has tri-colored lands, so you can imagine how things are right now. Although, of course, whenever people get too gay with 3 and 4-colored decks, Mono Red pounces and makes them its bitches.
>meta is pushed to multiculturalism
>the Reds win in the end
Plot twist: Mark Rosewater is secretly red-pilled and is trying to warn us.

I don't remember a single point in time where anything over two colours was good. To clarify: throwing lightning bolts into your blue-green deck doesn't make it three colour. I mean only in significant amounts.
Colourless on the other hand used to be very strong quite often.

Which is of course part of MtG's underlying message about how our skin colors don't matter in the slightest, and we'd all be better off no longer bothering with it.
