Not even kidding, I loved the Dark Knight iteration of Bane. He was a beacon of proper comic book levity in a dour franchise.

His voice and motivations were quite questionable. I loved the Dark Knight because it worked as a good crime thriller. Batman Begins has a little of that Schumacher shlock and Rises had some general hokeyness just to drive the point of the franchise home.

I can't make any excuses for the bat-voice though. Man it was bad in all the films.

Hereditary, the Babadook, It Comes at Night are real horror films Get Out is a comedy that got tons of praise because Jordan Peele is the exact type of non threatening, suit wearing negro that the patronising racist love to parade around line a pet.
