I don't know if even autism cat is dumb enough to think weebs want live action anything. He just wanted shitty bait.Kugelfisch wrote: ↑Sat Oct 19, 2019 12:48 amI don't think actual weebs want that show in the first place.

They certainly don't want live action stuff made by baka gaijin who probably haven't even watched the authentic Japanese dub. If they've watched the original at all.Guest wrote: ↑Sat Oct 19, 2019 1:00 amI don't know if even autism cat is dumb enough to think weebs want live action anything. Now Glorious Nippon itself on the other hand is fully capable of creation live-action shows that are among the best adaptations:
(I've also heard good things about the old TV drama version of Great Teacher Onizuka, but I have yet to watch live-action shows from Nippon that don't feature guys in monster costumes.)
Autism attracts more autism. Sooner or later, an internet nobody will attract the exact kind of fans - and detractors - he deserves.

I've heard things about the old GTO too but I've sadly never seen the animu or read the manga, even though we've had good scans for the tokyopop version for a couple years now and no longer need to use the infamous blue text bubble scans.

Don't spread fake news about me. I have read it. It's just the original animu that I've never watched, and I'm probably never going to because that shit has too many episodes, and I'd rather waste my time watching that "Sailor Moon vs Dracula" musical again.
Also I seem to recall that live-action Onizuka doesn't even have bleached hair.
I've watched the animu. Doesn't have the most timeless animation outside of the opening, but it's unironically one of the best animus I've ever watched. Watching the live-action version afterwards might be a bad idea IMO, since there's no way that show is quite as insane as the animated version.Guest wrote: ↑Sat Oct 19, 2019 9:34 amI've heard things about the old GTO too but I've sadly never seen the animu or read the manga, even though we've had good scans for the tokyopop version for a couple years now and no longer need to use the infamous blue text bubble scans.
