They think they are going to win the world cup now, so many "It's coming home" posts over the internet because they won a shootout. They nearly fucked it up when they got the first miss. I had a feeling it was too early for them to choke, against Sweden though I think they will lose and Croatia should beat Russia easily since Russia were complete shit against Spain.

The thought of England playing Russia though is mouthwatering. There will be constant rioting in the stands and the fighting on the pitch will make this look like a joke:

The other side of the world cup bracket is hard to predict. I mentioned the Belgium vs Brazil game but the Uruguay vs France game will be tough too. The French looked good against Argentina and that game really should not have been that close. Argentina got a long range goal to get be luckily level at half time and that second goal came out of no where, they only played 10 minutes of good football while the French finally got into 2nd gear in this tournament. But they are vulnerable at the back and don't look as solid in defence as they should.

Uruguay have a good defence and the Argentine defence being shit may have made the French look better than what they are. They scored a penalty and a deflection against us and their goal against Peru was helped by a deflection too. France played a counter attacking game against the Argentines and had Mbappe chase long balls but that shit won't work against URGay. But Uruguay weren't convincing in their wins in the group stage other than thumping Russia at the end, so that one could go either way. Hopefully they beat the French though since I want a world cup winner who hasn't won it or hasn't won it in an eternity (except England because that's still funny).
