That's one heck of a list and I can't disagree with any of it. Especially about Hardcore Punk. Shitty Punk with gang shouts does not a different genre make. When anybody asks me about my favourite music genres and I say "Death Metal and Hardcore" people always assume I mean Hardcore Punk and I have to specify. Yes, I know, it's an unusual combination but who honestly gives a fuck about any kind of Punk anymore? It's a dead genre.
