I cannot wait to see how badly they fuck that up after all that director's talk about "being truly faithful to the gaymes." People want the games acted out shot for shot by look alike actors, what they will get is Snake played by Will Smith and a subplot where Mei Ling fights for equal rights standing up to the mysoggyknees Campbell when he gives her a direct order. Metal Gear Rex will be destroyed off screen by planting explosives in the hanger.

I don't think the fans would really want a shot-for-shot adaptation of the games. I mean, the cutscenes were already cinematic as can be. And at least Snake Eaters came with a bonus DVD that just mashes all of the cutscenes into a movie, with some gameplay footage inbetween.
