Isn't it basically a running joke that the RE movies don't give a single fuck about their own continuity?

Also: Never trust a horror movie sequel with the word "final" in its tagline to actually keep that promise.

And isn't Paul W. S. Anderson currently trying to get his hands on the Castlevania franchise? I'm so looking forward to Alice Belmont, who is probably also FemAlucard, because why not.

I read somewhere that he got the rights or is currently pursuing the rights to make some live action Monster Hunter movies. I guess Crapcom doesn't care.

Unfortunately no they don't and it confirm my opinion that yes Iwata was bad for the games when he was there but he wasn't the only trouble.
All og this reminds of another Capcom mistake made not long ago, you should look up the new cgi cartoon for megaman, let's just say it makes the Ruby Speartoon look better what with high school, a more annoying sidecick, a worse catchphrase, I do not even remember if Megaman id a robot or a human that use some method to temporarily be Megaman

After his last two RE movies, Anderson is the last director I want on Castlevania, unless he goes hard-R with it and there's lots of Milla full-frontal to be had. (Unlikely, as she has been progressively more covered up since they married.)

Alice was fine for the first movie, a prequel, but the series really should have been about Sienna Guillory's Jill. I just hope Capcom boots Anderson and starts over. Rebecca Chambers hasn't been covered yet.

They should have quit after that first movue, no problem with Jill being the main character if the other characters got their own moment to shine.

As if Anderson didn't do enough damage, not even Milla full-frontal could save that since knowing Anderson it would turn out worse than those Lords of Shadows, she would be probably end up being immortal and the only Bekmont and also Alucard at the same time while the video gsme characters would just show up to get killed

He's a robot, but he can easily pass as a human outside of his Megaman armor because he was originally supposed to be a civilian model like his "sister".

I've been wondering how long it'll be until the movie industry, or rather Hollywood in regards to domestic profits, will finally crash and burn financially considering how ticket sales have been decreasing year on year. This year looks like it'll set itself up to be one of the lowest thus far.

It makes me wonder whether a movie crash will beat the inevitable 2nd video game crash to the punch or not. Maybe China or other foreign companies will end up purchasing the majority of the domestic movie market considering American movies do better overseas in most cases (and are also part of the cancer contributing to the downfall of quality).

As bad as Hollywood is, I despair over a future where everything is made for the Chinese market. The Great Wall was the most toothless, generic, inoffensive piece of crap I've seen in a long time. Everything will be a soft PG-13, with no sex, no swearing, very little violence, and no ideas that could be considered "problematic" to a Communist film board.

I don't think the crash is coming for games, at least not a sudden one like the first. Honestly since 2009 we have had a gradual decline of AAA with a transition into digital PC games. Konami is dead, THQ is gone, Capcom barely exists and attach rates for consoles are down. Many people have left AAA and now work on digital download games, hence why the quality and variety of them has increased from only being 2D platformers.

The downfall of AAA is already happening, but it has been a smooth transition rather than a sudden one. Hollywood though may not have that luxury.
