TL;DR Zoe’s friend got penalized for giving her lame ass comic a glowing review. It’s not a huge story, just proof that she’s doing the same sleazy shit she did several years back. Maybe the normies will finally wake up to that shit and she won’t be able to dismiss it as white male mysoginy.

Comics 'journalism' is even more incestuous than their video game counterpart. Basically because American comics are a two horse town, most avenues of comics 'journalism' don't want to risk pissing off DC or Marvel too much. A lot of the hiring pool for editors and other positions in DC and Marvel come from places like Comics Alliance or other, so more often than not you'll get situations like this one where a 'journalist' has absolutely sucked off a comic that just so happens to be written by one of their friends

I’m watching uploads of the new Young Justice season (because fuck DC and their streaming service) and so far it’s alright. It’s a bit darker with some blood and shots of bodies without being Snyder bleak, and while I was dreading it’d be Woke Justice so far it’s been alright, even with a sub plot about pseudo syrian/sand nigger refugees. I liked the original series a lot and it was the closest I’ve come to being interested in capeshit, hope they don’t fuck it up.
