Everyone seems hyped for the new Halloween flick(the third film in this franchise to be apparently titled simply "Halloween") except me.

Mostly cause it just sounds like the exact same movie as Halloween H20, only without Laurie being Michael Myers's sister. Just about the only thing hooking me is John Carpenter scoring the film and giving the project his personal thumbs up.

Also, they skipped over Danielle Harris as Laurie's daughter, what the fuck.

Valerian and the city of a thousand planets is different but 45 minutes in and it has failed to even setup what the 2 main characters are, what their role in the universe is and whey they are being selected for this seemingly important mission.

Perhaps it is explained later but I have a hard time sticking through it because I just see 2 whiny bratty young people being our main characters for no reason so far. The storyline is only getting setup a little bit now, the first 45 seemed to have just been a "visual spectacle" that establishes some interdimension shit and thats it.

Doesnt help that these 2 leads cant fucking act one bit and that theyre both trannies, not even kidding I could take a screenshot of "her" adonisbelt bone sticking out in several shots and the "guy" is so feminine Im pretty sure they picked these leads just because theyre trannies, perhaps twin trannies at that.

And dont get me started on "her" browridge you could drive a tank over it to cross the grand canyon

I dont let opinions of others or commercial succes decide whether or not i watch something.
Usually when the masses love something I hate it and vice versa.

I was in the mood for something different and besides that I kinda liked John Carter which people also hated.
