another one of those early beauties who fell off hard. Satanic hollywood is not good for the skin xdGuest wrote: ↑Thu May 03, 2018 10:11 pmSpeaking of boxes, Cameron Diaz retired from acting. She's 45 and everyone is acting like she retired at 18 or something because of the patriarchy, but have you seen her in the last ten years? She's old-looking as fuck. She's also married to a guy name Benji from a shitty band full of turbofags so she's not even rich like those models who marry billionaires.da PAC Nigguh wrote: ↑Sun Apr 29, 2018 5:15 pmThe Box? Wow talk about a completely fucking forgotten movie.

Did you have no friends or something?Guest wrote: ↑Thu May 03, 2018 10:14 pmI saw movies several times when I was a kid, but only because there was nothing to do and I was young. If I had movie pass though I'd be more pissed that you can only see 4 movies a month. It's still a good deal if you considered ticket prices, but it's definitely not what pass was supposed to be.
The price of the pass was lowered from $50 to $10. Smart decision, I'd say. Look at the garbage that's in cinemas these days. Most people would be hard pressed to even get a use out of being able to go to the cinema weekly, let alone paying five times the money to be allowed to go even more often.

Id get bored out of my skull knowing exactly what is going to happen next. I even have this problem if I watch a movie a year or so later, I usually need a few years gap before I rewatch something.

The Quiet Family (1998)
Korea sucks, they are the B-grade Japanese. Their electronics are inferior compared to superior Nippon products, their martial arts taekwondo and hapkido are cheapo copies of karate, aikido and jujutsu, their gangnam style shit tries to miserably imitate the J-pop (which also suck) and their movies fail one after another to reach the SUGOI level Japanese kino. What is Korean cinema's response to a mighty Ringu? A Tale of Two Sisters? Hmh! Kanzen'na tawagoto! There's only one worthwhile Korean movie, Oldboy (and it's based on superior Nippon mango).
What did I found out some time ago, one of my fav movies The Happiness of the Katakuris is actually a Japanese remake of the Korean movie The Quiet Family, I had to check this one out. The first thing that meets the eye is why are these same actors in every Korean movie? Is there only like 5 actors in Korea? TQF takes much less-crazy and more sit-comish approach than Katakuris. Some of its dark humor is quite brilliant and it manages to create dynamic suspense nearly throughout its length, unfortunately the ending degenerated into complete silliness. Nice try Koreans, but the superior Nihonjin did this one better too.
Red Dawn (1984)
This was fucking amazing! I saw this when I was 14 or 15, thought it was just some dumb and unbelievable action flick. Well, I couldn't comprehend its ingenuity back then. This movie could be summarized in one of its greatest quotes: "Because we live here!" When your home is invaded and your family is being killed you can choose to succumb and die with them or you can choose to fight back. There isn't any higher cause, fight for God, fight for a government, what a nonsense, there's only the spirit of defending your living space. Either you have it or you don't. They really don't make movies like this anymore.

Watching Blue Velvet I just cant understand how someone here said Laura Derne was hot in her early days. She already was a horsefaced tranny back then with a huge skull + shoulders and an adamsapple that can poke an eye out.
