No he won't. Comics are expensive and nobody cares about them. The whole format is bonkers these days. Your average comic runs you about 5€, which is just mad. Way too much money for light, continuous, entertainment.
For 1,80€ I get a Jerry Cotton, Perry Rhodan or John Sinclair book every week with much more story kahntent for the same entertainment.
Yeah, no drawings but also zero SJW fagshit, no pretentiousness and very often even better stories with more variety. Until comics are back to a humble mass market product for cheap that small kids can afford they will remain niche stuff for hipsters to ruin and 20+yr old comic guy faggots to obsess over.

Good pulpy goodness, delivered fast and cheap. They used to be like that, but I guess they went greedy after the 90s caused their sales to skyrocket.

And for weeb comparison, you can get an entire manga volume for a bit below 6€. More expensive than the average capeshit comic, but you get a lot more pages. Also you know that the story will actually end at some point.

(Dunno how much Western equivalents of Weekly Shounen Jump cost, but it can't be all that much, and you get to check out several different stories.)

This especially. It's throwaway entertainment and that's fine. You get the odd two-parter, you get two short stories or something in the middle. Sometimes it's mediocre, sometimes it's great. Western, Horror, Romance, Crime, SciFi; all the main genres so you can take your pick.
I know that something like that exists in comics as well. But too little and for too much money. The attempt to go from cliffhanger to cliffhanger, to entangle more and more comics, basically to try and get people to buy many comics regularly for ever increasing prices can only work for so long. They've priced kids out of the hobby and have gotten too much of a clusterfuck to just pick something up. It's okay when such a thing exists but right now that's what most comics are.

Why do you think you barely see comics outside of dedicated nerd stores? Nobody will pick that shit up in a super market and book stores don't even bother with that shit for the most part. More people know who the fuck Thanos is today than ever before and yet you have to go out of your way to find a store that will have a comic with him.
What comics need is actual innovation instead of insisting on a less and less successful format. Some sperg on the internet can skullfuck the entire industry. Not a good look.
