Accident of Birth and The Chemical Wedding were better albums than anything Iron Maiden has done since The Seventh Son. Bruce should have stayed on his solo career and with Roy Z.

Steve Harris really wants to be like Rush and Yes in his old age but like a lot of metal musicians pre-thrash his a lot like Spinal Tap when it comes to their pretentiousness. It's clearly not a Bruce problem or anyone else and it's been well established Steve Harris controls everything in that band.
