I heard they got dedicated servers a while back but there still seem to be some issues.

I can find the gold edition (pre order shit and season pass) dirt cheap now so Im wondering has this game ever been fixed to a state where its worth playing?

That's partially why I didn't buy the game is because everyone is a weeb who wants to be a MIGHTY SAMURAI and live out there extrakatana fantasies.

So the fucking patching has taken 1 1/2 hours now. All I can do is fuck around in practice mode. I mean, I guess the servers are at least stable enough to keep up the connection but today I won't be able to test any multiplayer stuff anymore.

Thats what I love about the key sites, I dont need to decide within a sale time or anything there will always be some site selling it for the lowest it has ever been.

I actually got it from a friend. It came with the graphic card.

Shit's real odd. The patch itself via Uplay was over 3 GB. That didn't take all too long. Then at start up the game took a while to patch on top of that. Now, I can only enter practice mode and it says "Installing Game Content..." in the lower right half. I've restarted since then because it looked like it hung up or something. Nope, still saying that.
Okay, I haven't played it since season 1 and it's in season 5 now but come on, man.

That doesnt sound like a very optimised process no.

Ive been reading about the game and the updates to it off and on since my last post and there are just so many positives and negatives to consider I still havent decided.

Ill just focus on watching more gameplay vids and see if that is really for me, I can deal with a bad connection sometimes, from what I gather it isnt ALWAYS bad right as in every game you try?

Most of my doubting came from there being a season pass and I hate playing games without all the content because I keep feeling I paid for an incomplete game.

Now I learned that the season pass only gives all that content EARLIER maannnn Im not going to keep doubting for 14,50 for the standard edition. Ill get my hours worth for sure in this case so I got the game, downloading now.
