I remember seeing this game in a magazine when i was a child, and giving up on trying to play it because i didn't know a word of English back then.
It's a surprisingly easy to get into and play -unless you are a retard like Spoony - mix of point and click adventure game and crpg with exploration and combat.
The puzzles are pretty easy - unless you are a retard like Spoony.
The voice acting is better than in a funimation production, and there are things which will never fly today, like the weapon merchants wearing SS uniforms:

So my friend got me Cybercuck 2077 for Christmas. I was hesitant to play it at first but don’t hate it. I wish it pushed harder on the adult content and you could max out everything in one go, because I like playing as the second coming of Gray Fox with optic camo and bullet deflection, but also want to make dudes commit sudoku by hacking.

Story seems okay so far, mainly just been air dashing around like Mega Man X and finding thugs to fuck up. I guess it’s finally what the developers wanted it to be?

It's a functional game now but it isn't at all what was promised. You don't have any choice of character. It's a fixed story with a fixed character that you can give some fluff flavour.
About as robust as choosing what Commander Shepard looks like.

Exactly. My version of V is a street kid so his dialogue already fits, but if I went down the corpo route I couldn’t imagine being a suit and talking the way he does. Reminds me a bit of Fallout 4 as well with the dialogue system.

That being said, I enjoy the combat. I’m mostly melee save for the occasional handgun wielding, so swords, throwing weapons, and monowire/gorilla arms are my go to. I hate you can only respec once, because I want to keep trying new builds without starting over. It lets you skip to the DLC at least so maybe that’s the solution.

It’s no Deus Ex but scratches that itch enough for me. I like how those games handled stuff like scanning and getting experience better.
