Remember when Chun Li was so ugly that Capcom had to patch a new face into Marvel vs. Capcom infinite? Soyny apparently did the opposite when they decided to intentionally make a character that wasn't very attractive to begin with as grotesque as they can for the sequel. Ironic that the things you actually see during gameplay (the animations) are lazy copy & paste from the last game while the only part they could have copy pasted with no issue (the face) had to be mutilated as much as possible.

This is pretty much an AAA variant of the itch.io smash hit Extreme Meatpunks Forever, whose sequel also redesigned everyone to be as unattractive as possible (as to not offend the troons).
Though it might actually be worse here. At least that piece of indie trash only has static images. This here on the other hand presents Genderswap Nikocado Avocado in all her Uncanny Valley glory.

I still have no clear understanding what the fuck "cultural appropriation" is even supposed to mean. Is there some kind of ethnic copyright on some things or what? Because if this is the case, i doubt native americans would even be allowed to play video games at all.

According to this meandering article (as far as I skimmed; these "Here's why [thing] is problematic" are always a slog to read through since their drama is so constructed and generally doesn't make sense unless you're as radical as the author), it means white people are not allowed to dress in what the writer of the articles considers to be Native American getup.
The writer is apparently also triggered that the game never acknowledges and/or explains this capital offense.
I hope the developers learn from this and have the 3rd game feature Aloy's half-black daughter.
