I mean, going back to Ocarina of Time 3D. Nintendo could have made that game look like Twilight Princess or Skyward Sword, but they chose not to. They chose to make it look a lot more like the concept art and the experience is ultimately more satisfying for it. It's as if you're playing the game the way Nintendo envisioned it but didn't quite have the technological ability to make it back in 1998 or whatever.

The 3ds remake is excellent... except for one part-the final boss

Gannon in the original had this demonic look with his whole model completely silhouetted except for his glowing eyes and the low lighting help to give him and intimating look and feel to him.

The remake kills the mode with everything being brighten up way to much to an almost cartoony degree.

FF10's sphere grid was good if you had the yuro/nip version and not the locked-down retard-proof burger version.

You can get downright autistic with that thing. My friend in high school spent like 200 hours on that game redoing everything to get the perfect setup.

It's the most empty and boring fighting game ever made! Fucking super smash hoes has more depth to it then this shit. It's literally "Half-hazerdly mash random buttons together and you win! When fighting against friends mash more random fucking buttons together then he is mashing to win!"
It sill depresses me how brain-dead it is especially when the series just came off of the high note that was Xrd. But they caved into the "itz tuu hard" normie crowd who Can't be bothered to just fucking practice on anything. I'm so sick of everything being dumbed down to 'baby's first game mode' but Strive is a special kind of shit that leaves me in a state of shock on how devoid of any skill or effort really is. That's another series I use to love flushed right down the toilet.

I didn't say that the remake was perfect. But Nintendo had the right idea. Don't re-invent the game. The game is fine as it is, it just needed a little bit of polish

Keep in mind i don't say all this because i'm a badass at the previous guilty gear games - as a matter of fact I fucking suck - But it still angers me as someone who regardless put in the time and effort to master each character's moveset and it was satisfyed to pull off some of the combos! Square was way ahead of their time when they implemented a "Skip this stupid combat" function in the game.
Too bad you have to unlock the feature first, and each use is hidden behind an in-game paywall.
