Also, never forget : Machine Games used to be part of Starbreeze, who made the first The Darkness game. You know : the game where they took the concept of a Symbiote-clad, magic-mafioso motherfucker who was full of 90s cheesyness and epic guns and made it into 3rd rate Godfather that everyone gushes over, for the PS3 and 360. And then those people shat all over the sequel that was more faithful to the comics.

Most of suikoden games are good, with the exception of 4 which is one of the worst jrpg I have ever played with shitty combat system, story and music. They had to patch the story with suikoden tactics to keep the lore consistent.

And the gut punch is that Tierkreis is from the Tactics guys who actually did a good job but the shit that goes in Tier is too insufferable to stomach. Not to mention, the concepts used in Tier are later used much better on the spin-off PSP game instead, even if that game doesn't feature Runes properly.
Still makes me wonder how the fuck Boktai and Lufia 2 avoided having touch control cancer when they came out on the DS.
