Kojima the hack fraud
Re: Kojima the hack fraud
I always really hated MGS, and it turns out Kojima may not have as much to do with the success of Silent Hill as he might claim.

Re: Kojima the hack fraud
This has little to do with the "success" of Silent Hill, since the franchise was already dead when the demo was released and continues to be dead to this very day.
The only ones who gained anything out of this were indie titles like Layers of Fear, who just stole the premise of the demo and made a full game out of it.

Re: Kojima the hack fraud
That's fine but when did Kojima ever claim or is known to have contributed to the success of the Silent Hill franchise?

2D can only satisfy him so much.Kugelfisch wrote: ↑Fri Oct 29, 2021 8:35 amMaybe it's the flavour of little boys asshole that does it for him.
If Kojima knew that Hayter actually did write real movies and knew people in Hollywood he would have kept him on and asked him to get access to Jeffery Epstein's Island Hollywood parties way earlier.Guest wrote: ↑Fri Oct 29, 2021 2:14 amI know Hayter was just a dub actor and they barely interacted, but that's no reason to take away his biggest gig that people know him for.
Shame Itagaki is washed up now. He has a similar problem to Kojima where he needs a good team around him to be kept in check, though his issue is closer to John Romero's since Devil's Third was his Daikatana. Hideki was smarter since he took every talented person at Capcom with him to form Platinum to cuck them good. They still haven't recovered.Kugelfisch wrote: ↑Tue Nov 16, 2021 8:52 pmThe real nip Chads that DGAF are Emperor Hideki and Tomonobu Itagaki.

Re: Kojima the hack fraud
He never did. I don't even know what the hell Newhalf is even talking about. Kojima was working on Silent Hills (the canned one he was doing with Norman Reedus and Guillermo del Toro), but he was never actually involved with the ones that came out before that. MGS and Silent Hill were not even made by the same Konami team. MGS was by KCE Japan (which became Kojima Productions), while Silent Hill was originally made by KCE Tokyo before they started outsourcing them to yanks and ruined everything.Kugelfisch wrote: ↑Wed Nov 17, 2021 6:42 pmThat's fine but when did Kojima ever claim or is known to have contributed to the success of the Silent Hill franchise?
I'm pretty sure Hayter's involvement with the X-Men movies was mentioned in one of the Japanese re-releases of MGS1 or 2 that featured English voice acting, but screenwriters don't really have that much influence on Pedowood. Hayter's last movie was some straight-to-DVD shit with a pre-Aquaman Jason Momoa that nobody watched.

That would imply people gave a shit about Devil's Third to begin with. Shit was canned twice before it was eventually dumped on the Pii U of all systems.
