I think damn near every character is gay or trans or black. The funny thing is New Vegas never made a big deal about that shit and still had diversity in it. They were less obnoxious about it though.

Nu Vegas was made in a completely different era. The devs might've had progressive ideas, but they were still normal enough to not go full retard.
The current crop of devs has spend years in an austistic hug box. They don't even know anymore what being normal means.

Everyone always forgets that Obsidian made the 2 South Park (J)RPGs.
Any opinions on those?

Apparently they made the pronouns optional, out of fear of losing sales.

Judging by Steam numbers, it performed even worse than Fagon Gayge: The Failguard.
And they still have The Outer Worlds 2: Electric Jewgaloo out later this year too.

Haven't played the second one, but the first one's an alright immersive experience if you like South Park and ever wanted to play Paper Mario as a jew.

I remember the plot of the first one being very bareboned/just an excuse to show references from the show, and the sequel being a proper South Park episode, with the New Kid having to save his parents' marriage on the side, but it's been many years since i played them so i may be completely wrong.

Not surprising as Outer Worlds already performed abysmally and people weren't primed for it being utter shit.

It's a shame to see western rpgs sucking the fat one for the last 10+ years, but not much I can say about it. GoG still exist and I can still play old gaems.
