In other news 2024 did not go well for Hasbro.

Wizards of the Coast tabletop revenues, which would have included substantial sales increases for Dungeons & Dragons, were down 22%, to $207.0 million from $265.6 million in Q4 2023. Operating profits in the segment also declined, to $80.9 million in Q4 2024 from $103.2 million in Q4 2023.

D&D 5.5 / 2024 doesn't seem to be doing so hot.
Not too surprising, honestly. If you already have 5e material you don't really have many incentives to get these "revised" versions - unless you absolutely, positively want every hot lady monster to also come in a hot dude flavor, in which case you can already do that.
Also the only thing that helped D&D revenues in earlier quarters was Baldur's Gate 3, and Hasbro made sure to never repeat that mistake ever again by ditching Larian in favor of the troon terrors that made Veilguard for whatever the next D&D video game will be.
