It's like those Seiken Densetsu 3D remakes that also default to the arranged track despite the original SNES tunes being way more iconic, catchy and consistent.

And the SNES sound quality isn't even that much lower than arranged modern soundtracks. The snes was known for high quality music.

I'm currently playing the original breath of fire and its soundtrack is an all-timer.

Looking at the pictures, it doesn't seem much better than the OG version on gog - i haven't looked much into it, but there are probably modded versions of the gog release that wipe the floor with this shit.
On top of that, the negative reviews claim it's bugged ,has glitches, and the multiplayer barely works.
After the System Shock remake these morons have been fellated so much that now they feel comfortable releasing shit that's both overpriced and half-assed.
