I enjoyed EDF 2017, but I get a lot more fun out of the series when I can meme with my wing diver and fly around the map. Walking is for plebs.

That's like the one thing I didn't like about the game (besides helicopters being annoying to pilot because the engine takes forever to get going): The Ranger's just too slow. Wing Divers fly, Air Raiders can get a vehicle, and Fencers can use crazy shield-parry-dash-cancel shenanigans to become one of the fastest blokes in the game, but all Rangers do is roll.

Ranger a shit for sure. The game moves at a snail's pace when you can't do anything to increase your speed except repeatedly hump the ground with your face.
