We'll see will this have any impact at all on anything. Remember, the EU is run by a bunch of age-old cranks who don't have a clear comprehension how the interweb functions. If they'll really go full-blown balls-deep enforcing this shit, they will drive off the companies and the EU internet ecosystem will atrophy away.
