Before I unsubscribe from that moron, I'm going to unwind here for a hot minute.

Some of you faggots recommended ACG (which as far as I'm concerned stands for Autistic Cocksucking Goblin) as a "decent" reviewer. After seeing few of his recent reviews, I have to say, he isn't lazy like Angry Dookie, but I think that at this point, I would almost prefer Casual Juan's opinion over his.

He shits out reviews that, when I happen to have a better knowledge of the subject, turn out to be super dry, mundaine, boring, full of incoherent rambling and poorly explained ideas. For example, in his latest Battlefront 2 review, he shills the game out as good, praises incredibly shitty map design that's universally hated among community, but ends up with the "loot crate" debacle, which makes the whole game shitty, and apparently feel like a mobile game, despite all the positives he's mentioned before. Bitch, mobile games don't play like AAA games.

Maybe I'm just too disconnected from an average gamer these days, but the guy feels like a clueless casual most of the time. I much rather prefer Gggmanlives, because at least he focuses mostly on shooters and not the whole spectrum - most of the old reviewers from magazines I used to read also specialized on certain games, because being Jack of all trades and competent in none just leaves you as a mundaine nobody who's opinion isn't valuable, and he certainly isn't interesting enough on his own.

He reminds of me Bennet the Sage a lot in this case, he also used to produce extremely dry, boring and empty of substance reviews that only felt informative if you knew nothing of the subject. Just because someone keeps talking in a monotone voice doesn't mean they know what they're talking about.

I think it was only me he recommenced him, and while I disagree that he is dry and dull watching him recently during the latest wave of AAA games he has soured on me a bit. This isn't a Tim Buckley Path thing, he is still better than your average game journo shit who doesn't explain anything (like Angry Joe, sorry Joe is much worse) but his review of Wolfenstein pissed me off since he flat out said the story was great and that the game was fine. Gggman is a superior reviewer, and his review seemed far more spot on without even going into the political shit in the story (though he did rip into it for being all over the place tonally). Though if he did, he would be a Trump guy since the one time I checked his twitter he was retweeting a lot of anti-Islam shit.

But back on ACG, it seems from watching him for a while now that his speciality is racing games and as you said, is a casual in everything else. His Marvel vs Capcom Infinite review proved that to me. But compared to IGN and other shitters who pump out reviews regularly he is a fucking god, and no one pumps out reviews of the latest stuff like he does that isn't an overt and blatant corporate shill. Gggman is good for FPS but other than him the good reviewers only do shit sparingly. He is good enough for me to know what is going on with the latest releases but I know what I'm getting and to not take his word as gospel.
