After about two weeks of radio silence, she's back in a brand new apartment in good ol' Canada.
Without furniture.

He has been living in Kuwait all this time. Canada was his end goal, but nothing ever came of it thanks to Chantal being Chantal.
As he's filed as an accomplice in the investigations regarding Chantals criminal empire (mostly filming oil fields and asking for donations) there's a good chance he'll get the same punishment they would've used for Chantal and other annoying foreigners: Deportation into their home country and a permanent travel ban.

She's starting to get paranoid about her new apartment being haunted. Could be the loneliness, or it could be the weed - like that one time pre-Kuwait were she confused one of her old cats hanging out in her wardrobe for an "intruder".

Also she could buy an AC, but she has no one willing or able to install it. This will be a fun summer.

And apparently when she visited her mom she fell down the stairs, breaking at least two toes in the process, which is apparently not a big deal in her opinion. Okay.

Apparently she's at least his third owner, which is always a good sign. Also she keeps the litter box in the bedroom, which is an even better sign.
