So other than DVDs and his face I can bye his own version of blind bag with some absolute crap.

Didn't he say he'll never do that because the comic review part is oh-so important to the storyline and he'd never cut up his art?drisko wrote: ↑Wed Aug 30, 2017 10:02 amHe probably gets a little something from the few ads still playing, plus merchandise, but I see your point. If Lewis had been smart about the storylines, he would have done them in a way where they could be put on a DVD and sold to make some extra income. Even though they're shit, there is an audience out there who enjoys them and he never really catered to them beyond buying some more Power Rangers crap and using music from other properties.
How many of his fans really care about the storylines, anyways? Back when I watched his stuff and even read the comment section I didn't really find a lot of people talking about his autistic universe. Some Sick Fuck wrote: ↑Tue Aug 29, 2017 11:46 pmHe's getting 2500 per month, so he's living off pretty damn well. We can only speculate how fat would Larry get if he was getting as much money from patreon, looking at how Linkara has ballooned.
Easy fix, stop making the borderline autistic storylines that are the worst stuff on your reviews, and stop sleeping 16 hours per day. What an asshole, he's acting like people would be missing out if he didn't include a "storyline", aka him standing around in his apartment in different costumes talking to himself.plenty of episode delays as of late, mostly due to storyline stuff, needing to sleep
Well, enough people cared about it to fund the Atop the Fourth Wall movie which was dedicated totally to that universe.VoiceOfReasonPast wrote: ↑Wed Aug 30, 2017 4:17 pmHow many of his fans really care about the storylines, anyways? He also doesn't have to have the stress of being a manager on his shoulders, doesn't have to wake up at 8am every day and clock in, and do the same thing over and over. He doesn't make as much but he can be "creatively free" and do whatever he wants at the time so he doesn't have to get bored, he can also sleep in if he wants and doesn't really have to answer to anyone (other than his patreons).BenComicGraphics wrote: ↑Wed Aug 30, 2017 1:15 amEh, he's not doing that well honestly. Patreon takes $1,500 yearly from that. He then has to pay the IRS over 5 grand a year in taxes... followed by Minnesota's state tax $2K a year. That leaves him with less than $24K a year. Which means he takes home, at best, less than $2k a month.
By investing time and money into an actual career out of college, even something as menial as retail, if he actually kept working at it, he'd probably be a manager somewhere by now, and could have been earning $45K a year by now. But, eh, he's earning half that and doesn't have the job history to even earn that much for the first 5 years of his restarted career once the bubble bursts.
meanwhile sucessfull youtubers upload several videos daily (pewdiepie uploads 3, markaplier 2 and even king douche jake paul uploads constantly) while they cant be bothered to pull more than 1 video a week (unless its lazy shit like brads midnight screenings)mad bum wrote: ↑Thu Aug 31, 2017 12:39 amHe also doesn't have to have the stress of being a manager on his shoulders, doesn't have to wake up at 8am every day and clock in, and do the same thing over and over. If this wasn't such a sweet gig these nobodies wouldn't keep doing it. There's a reason why they are all whining and crying because they might have to get real jobs/part time jobs.
Yep, and he probably lost out on the money he could have made if he posted them all in one for the fans to enjoy without having to load half hour long videos for five minutes of story.VoiceOfReasonPast wrote: ↑Wed Aug 30, 2017 4:17 pmDidn't he say he'll never do that because the comic review part is oh-so important to the storyline and he'd never cut up his art?drisko wrote: ↑Wed Aug 30, 2017 10:02 amHe probably gets a little something from the few ads still playing, plus merchandise, but I see your point. Honestly? Lewis has an almost autistic need for schedules(one of the only reasons he's able to update on time), that he'd most likely thrive in a 9-5 environment.mad bum wrote: ↑Thu Aug 31, 2017 12:39 amHe also doesn't have to have the stress of being a manager on his shoulders, doesn't have to wake up at 8am every day and clock in, and do the same thing over and over. Also, looking at the comments section for one of his recent videos, about 1/3 of the comments are about the storyline.
