My boner has been constant ever since this started. We've got DSP fucking arguing that youtube and google's adsense ToS is illegal, all while pretending as though he wasn't banned from adsense years ago and shouldn't be on adsense to begin with.

I've said in the past that I'd just ban all these e-celebs and delete their videos to reduce my server costs if I ran jewtube, but this might be better. Eh, he's not doing that well honestly. Patreon takes $1,500 yearly from that. He then has to pay the IRS over 5 grand a year in taxes... followed by Minnesota's state tax $2K a year. That leaves him with less than $24K a year. Which means he takes home, at best, less than $2k a month.

By investing time and money into an actual career out of college, even something as menial as retail, if he actually kept working at it, he'd probably be a manager somewhere by now, and could have been earning $45K a year by now. But, eh, he's earning half that and doesn't have the job history to even earn that much for the first 5 years of his restarted career once the bubble bursts.

He probably gets a little something from the few ads still playing, plus merchandise, but I see your point. If Lewis had been smart about the storylines, he would have done them in a way where they could be put on a DVD and sold to make some extra income. Even though they're shit, there is an audience out there who enjoys them and he never really catered to them beyond buying some more Power Rangers crap and using music from other properties.

if any one of us went back to the start of TGWTG and joined as another comic book reviewer, we'd probably steal his audience out from under him, meaning he would have had to have stayed at that retail job. He might have even had to grow up a little more than he has now.
