He was in his mid-20s or so when he started out, so it's a case of "old enough to know better but still young enough to make dumb mistakes." He'd naturally want to work with his buddies or would trust his brother to bring in good people.

If he's going to take on anyone else at this point, his best bet would be to observe potential producers online. See if they make asses of themselves on Twitter or cave in to trolls. More importantly, dig into their pasts to make sure they didn't cause shit for other people.

But it's probably better to just be affiliated with new people rather than bring them under the CA umbrella. Occasionally promote someone's work, do a cameo or a single project together, etc. A "scratch your back, scratch mine" deal.
