True. I was mostly thinking of 8/pol/ when I wrote that. Old 4/pol/ had more variety to it, which was in part because there was no leftypol and the site wasn't absolutely goon infested at that point.
8chan declined rapidly altogether after the third exodus. It was still okay for about half a year at best but one after another even stable boards like /k/ and /fit/ either died or got obnoxious.
