My experience with antidepressants is that they're basically glorified aspirin that really mess with your head. They numbed certain pains I had and they helped me sleep at night. Other than that they did absolutely nothing and the withdrawal from cutting myself off from them was far more harmful than the condition they were meant to treat.

No it isn't. Excess oestrogen causes a variety of cancers. If we were hopped up on oestrogen, which is everywhere apparently, you would be seeing greater instances of uterine/ovarian cancers, testicular cancer. You'd be seeing more newborn babies with breast cancer, because a lot of newborn babies develop small breasts due to exposure to their mother's hormones via the placenta. You'd be seeing more post-menopausal women with ovarian cancer.

You're not seeing any of this. Exposure to oestrogen does a lot more than just make you effeminate.

Mental healthcare is pretty fucked up in general, not only in the tranny stuff. Like depressed people are handed meds, but they don't get any actual help other than that. Without proper help those meds just fuck them up even more and they end up shooting couple of schools. I think there's a political wing of this. Maybe it's less noticeable where you live, but I think it's very obvious here. Somebody will have some kind of gender confusion issue, which may or may not also be related to mental health issues happening at the same time (transsexuals have very high rates of mental health problems and suicide), and the current meme response from the mainstream media seems to be "you need to let them present as whatever they want and they should think about hormones and surgery too, and even if they never look like the gender they claim to be, everyone must treat them that way."

I feel like those people should maybe try to address mental or emotional problems first and we as a society should steer people away from any lasting body modification. Certainly, any of the people who think folks with mental health issues shouldn't buy guns, those same people (it is usually the same group who push transitioning) should think about what makes someone with mental health issues competent to commit to irreversible elective surgery. I think owning a firearm is a lot less important of a decision than cutting your dick off. Most firearms sit in a closet and get used a few times a year. Most dicks get used many times a day.

I don't think trannies end up shooting schools though. Most who transition just feel temporarily euphoric about the back-pats, and then get super depressed later in life when their hair falls out and they can't pass (or decide they're actually not the sex they transitioned to, and they want their old junk back), at which point they kill themselves. Trannies remind me more of the guys who hang out on wizardchan. I don't think the current political climate is helping those people.

Also the talk of mental health made me remember something I had talk to a friend of mine about. Yeah sure asylums could be terrible but the alternative of either just hopping people up on medication or putting them in jail if they're too dangerous isn't much better to me. Just like with many issues regarding the grand SJW hugbox, the problem is that they never draw a line to weed out people who just want attention or are in actual need for psychological help.
