When he started doing religious movies for Midnight Screenings, he realised how popular it was to bash them (They are shit, so no issue there) and went full anti-theist, when before he was more of a "I don't believe in it, but it's fine that you do."

They did a midnight screening of 'God's Not Dead' It got some decent views then he started doing more of those types of screenings,
Going by youtube his 10 most popular snob episodes are comprised of 4 religious movies or movies related to christianity, 2 christmas movies, 1 porno, Roger Corman's fantastic four, OOGIELOVES and FRIDAY THE 13TH, PART VI.
As you can see there is no ninja movies, no shot on shitteo horror shlock. Why should he do them, when he can get easy views ?

His most popular midnight screening to date is 'God's Not Dead 2' with 260K and is about 80K above the second most popular. Regularly midnight screenings have something around 20K to 40K.

He did 29 religious movies till date on midnight screenings which there is about 700 now. He didn't spam his channel with religious movies. They are the most popular so the Youtube algorithm would put them in the recommended section. That's all.

As to Brad becoming an asshole I don't really know. The snob character was always suppose to be like that, and I didn't follow his social media when I was watching his stuff. Most people just got disillusioned when they got to know his political alignments.

You can do religious movie reviews but his were beyond just reviewing movies for fun it was pretty much just his festering hatred where you could see he had some personal grudge against religion that's what made them shit. He made all these religious movie reviews but they weren't reviews they were more like rants on religion. He barely even reviewed the movies he was talking about he would just go on and on with his anti religious nonsense.... always starting with "I know not all Christians are like this but.... Christians think this, Christians do that... Christians are dumb enough to like these types of movies... x 45minutes I think they even forgot about the movie they were reviewing in some videos but he spammed that shit like there was no tomorrow.

But it wasn't just the videos Brad would get pissed off and go berserker on people in his video comments when they pointing out that they were tired of him doing those types of videos and he would delete comments or block people (he's definitely Spoony's pal). The guy is thin skinned. If he admitted he was an atheist like people were calling him out for instead of pretending he wasn't no one would really care but It's like getting caught with a dick in your mouth and ass and saying "I'm not gay I swear it...I just really like cocks".

I've watched I think all his religious reviews and don't agree. His religious film reviews largely focus on how bad the movies ate or how hateful they portray non-believers. So they ARE terrible and they DO demonize others I have no real problem with him making fun of them.

My biggest issue with him still doing the religious movies on his site now is that he has already finished and released his religious parody movie. It's time for Brad to move on.

Also, when he did that recent DVD-R Hell he's like "it's been a while since I showcased a religious scare film on this show". Come on Brad, you've been showcasing religious movies on your main show for years, that's some technicality bullshit.
